What will I get out of this course?

 
  • The knowledge to use an A.E.D. in an emergency situation. As part of a team.
  • The knowledge to use an A.E.D. in an emergency situation. As a single operator.
  • Upon completion delegates will receive a certificate of attendance.
 
   

Who is it for?

 
This course is designed for delegates that have access to Automatic External Defibrillators (A.E.D.) in the workplace, also staff that have already received training and are competent in C.P.R. following the guidelines set out by European Resuscitation Council.

Course Overview

 
  • Show competence in C.P.R.
  • Effectively demonstrate the procedure for use of A.E.D. as a team leader in the case of a casualty with no shock indicated
  • Effectively demonstrate the procedure for use of A.E.D. as a single operator in the case of a casualty with shock indicated.
  • Effectively demonstrate the procedure for use of A.E.D. as a single operator in an unknown scenario
  • Effectively demonstrate the procedure for use of A.E.D. as a team leader in the case of a casualty with shock indicated
  • Effectively demonstrate the procedure for use of A.E.D. as a team leader in the case of an unknown scenario
  • Effectively demonstrate the procedure for use of A.E.D. as a single operator in the case of a casualty with no shock indicated
